The horn of the Yamaha XJ 600 Diversion is compulsory equipment, checked at roadworthiness tests. Located at the front behind the fairing, it is exposed to moisture; over the years its terminals corrode and its diaphragm sticks, making the sound weak or non-existent. This original horn comes from a 1999 XJ 600 Diversion (600 cc, 49,000 km), listed in good condition and for the XJ 600 Diversion from 1998 to 2003. First check the fuse, button and earth. Fit it with the opening facing down on its original bracket, clean the terminals and test it with the ignition on; some models have a tone adjustment screw. Used horn for Yamaha XJ 600 Diversion 1998-2003, ref RJ011. OEM replacement motorcycle horn.
