The left footrest hanger of the Yamaha XJ 600 Diversion carries the left rider footrest, the gear lever and, depending on the set-up, the pillion footrest. In a fall on the side-stand side it scrapes along the road and can bend, upsetting the gear lever position. This original hanger comes from a 1999 XJ 600 Diversion (600 cc, 49,000 km), listed in good condition and for the XJ 600 Diversion from 1998 to 2003. Check that it is straight, free of cracks around the mountings and the condition of the gear lever pivot bore.
